WELCOME TO BLACK FLAG ARMORY…
Welcome to Black Flag Armory. This is where I would normally issue my annual apology for this mess of a website and promise to make it better over the coming months, but we are about to enter our 10th year in business, and those who have been with us since day 1’ish know that this POS website is not going to change. That being said, I would like to thank you all for your years of support. I have enjoyed it immensely.
THIS IS US…
Black Flag Armory was created like a lot of American small businesses; with interested parties sitting at a dining room table with pen and paper. I was a senior Green Beret just coming off of an Afghanistan rotation with a serious combat injury to rehab. Stacy was a stressed-out Green Beret wife, a full-time mother of three, and a full-time accountant for a local flooring company. It couldn’t have been a better time to make Black Flag Armory happen.
As a family, we are unapologetically American…there’s no question that the United States is the greatest, most generous nation this planet has ever known. True belief in God, country, and family are the pillars that we have built our lives around. We work hard and we play hard. We celebrate tradition and strive to preserve the America that Stacy and I grew up loving. We soundly reject the leftist, woke, separatist ideology that is so pervasive in America today.
As a business, we value our customers and our community above all else…bottom line. We listen to our customers and we really get to know them. We understand the importance of customer loyalty when operating in a local market only, so we build our relationships on respect and trust beginning from the first time you visit us. When it comes to community, we wholeheartedly believe in keeping our money in the local loop. We sponsor and spend our money locally.
Stacy
"The Boss" (CFO)
She controls the money, and she does whatever she wants. That’s probably all you need to know. Actually, her story is coming soon. It will have to be done between her regular accounting job, new grandma tasks, Home Goods excursions, mom work, husband bossing, and episodes of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown.
Johni
"The Badger" (Operations)
Snake-eating, knuckle-dragging, rum-drinking, pipe-hitting, scurvy pirate. Being held together by steel straps, screws, baling wire, and 100 mph tape, but still managing to get it on.
WHAT WE DO…
We are a 01-Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). This means we can repair, buy, sell, and transfer guns for profit. It also means that we are highly regulated by both state and federal agencies. You should not try coming to us for anything firearm-related if you know there are issues with your eligibility to possess a firearm, as determined by the BATFE Form 4473 questionnaire.
We are NOT currently a firearms manufacturer, nor are we currently holding a dealer Special Occupational Tax (SOT) stamp. What this means for you is that we will not be able to build you a custom firearm. It also means that we can’t accept your Short-Barrel Rifle (SBR), your machine gun, or your suppressor for transferring. These are things that we are planning for in the future, but it’s not happening under the current administration.
Here’s a list of some of the services we provide…
Gunsmithing and Gun Repair
FFL Transfers (Dealer to Dealer & Private Party Sales)
Ultrasonic Gun Cleaning & Inspection
Restoration & Coatings
Laser Engraving (to include ATF/Trust engraving)
Precision Scope Mounting

HOURS OF OPERATIONS…
For those of you who don’t know, we run Black Flag Armory out of our residence. I’ve got a nice little shop set up in the garage and an office and storage space indoors. All business, as of now, is conducted in the garage…the garage without air conditioning. You will notice that all business is conducted by appointment only. I have to do it this way to keep from having strangers showing up at my front door with guns. If you do show up at my front door, unannounced, you probably are not going to meet welcoming Johni. No hard feelings, but something should tell you it is not the cool thing to do. That being said, here are our winter hours…
